We're recruiting a Business Development Manager for a well-established thermal engineering specialist, helping reduce costs and carbon emissions through thermal-process optimisation and heat-recovery systems across the Food & Beverage and FMCG industries.
Package
£65,000 to £75,000 Starting Salary. £15,000 Company Bonus. £7,000 Car Allowance.
Location
Homebased in the UK. Client Visits in the UK.
Responsibilities
Identify and win new opportunities across factories with thermal processes.
Build customer relationships and develop compelling technical proposals.
Present value propositions focused on cost savings.
Generate early-stage concepts for heat recovery and process optimisation.
Work closely with process engineers to refine technical solutions.
Travel to customer sites across the UK (occasional international visits).
Experience & Skills
Experience in business development or technical sales.
Knowledge of industrial thermal processes (heat recovery, thermal oxidisers, etc.).
Knowledge of heat transfer (water, steam, thermal oil, etc.).
Ability to translate process data into technical and commercial solutions.
An engineering qualification is preferred but not required.
