CNC Setter / Operator - Precision Engineering - Nottingham

Nottingham | £37,000–£43,000 + Shift Premium

Seeking an experienced CNC Setter / Operator to work at a modern manufacturing company in South Nottingham.

You will be responsible for operating and setting CNC Turning machines using Fanuc and Mazatrol controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set and operate CNC Turning machines.
• Adjust Fanuc and Mazatrol controls and tooling.
• Work from CAD designs and specifications.
• Maintain component dimensions within tolerances.
• Carry out quality checks using CMM and shadowgraph equipment.
• Alter offsets according to SPC results.
• Participate in Lean and Six Sigma activities.

Knowledge & Skills Required:

• CNC Turning experience.
• Ability to set tooling and programmes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Measuring-equipment experience.
• Fanuc and Mazatrol experience desirable.
