Contract Maintenance Engineer - Manufacturing - Manchester

Manchester | 3-Month Contract | £30–£40 per hour

We're looking for an experienced Contract Maintenance Engineer to join a client on a three-month contract based in Manchester.

This is an immediate-start opportunity working within a modern manufacturing site.

Key Details:

Contract length: 3 months.

Start date: Immediate.

12-hour shifts – 4 on, 4 off, days and nights.

Days: 07:00–19:00.

Nights: 19:00–07:00.

£30 per hour direct monthly PAYE or £40 per hour through an accredited PAYE umbrella partner.

IR35 status to be determined.

Role Description:

Support production with reactive breakdowns and planned preventative maintenance.

Fault find and repair electrical and mechanical systems.

Work efficiently within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Maintain high standards of safety, quality and compliance.

What We're Looking For:

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers, ideally electrically biased with strong mechanical ability.

Experience within food, packaging or general manufacturing environments.

Reliable and professional approach.

Calm, solution-focused approach when dealing with breakdowns and production pressure.
