Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Food&Bev - Coventry

Coventry, Warwickshire | £57,294.07 + Quarterly Bonus | 4 On 4 Off Days & Nights

We are working with a leading UK food manufacturing business operating a highly automated production facility in Coventry.

The site has undergone significant investment in both equipment and engineering capability, creating an environment where maintenance is valued and engineers are given the support, training and tools needed to succeed.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance across high-speed automated production and packaging equipment.
• Respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
• Diagnose faults across electrical control systems, motors, drives, sensors and automated machinery.
• Support root cause analysis.
• Work with production teams to improve performance and reliability.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain records through CMMS.
• Ensure maintenance activities are completed safely.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Apprentice-trained engineer.
• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent.
• Electrically biased with strong fault-finding ability.
• Manufacturing, FMCG, logistics, automated warehousing or production experience.
• PLC, SCADA or automation exposure advantageous.
