Facilities Engineer - Food&Bev - Ashby-de-la-Zouch

Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire | Up to £39,000 | Monday-Friday 8am-4pm, No Weekends

We are working with a leading UK food manufacturing business, known for producing some of the nation's favourite snack brands.

Working closely with the Site Services Manager, you'll take ownership of the site's essential services – from boilers and compressors to fire protection and effluent treatment – keeping the wider manufacturing operation running safely and compliantly.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance across site services equipment.
• Complete statutory inspections.
• Maintain boilers, compressors, effluent treatment plant, sprinkler systems and fire protection equipment.
• Carry out electrical installations, fault finding and repairs.
• Support LOLER inspections and legionella control procedures.
• Carry out general building maintenance including basic plumbing, joinery and facilities repairs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Recognised electrical apprenticeship or Level 3 Electrical qualification.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Site services, facilities or manufacturing equipment experience.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
• Understanding of statutory compliance.
