Melton Mowbray | Circa £49,000 + Bonus | 4 on 4 off
A successful food manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team.
You'll work within a small team to ensure safety compliance, effective workload prioritisation and consistently high production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, guide and mentor your shift team.
- Deliver effective maintenance.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
- Monitor processes and equipment.
- Respond to unplanned breakdowns.
- Support engineering projects, installations and equipment modifications.
Experience & Skills Required:
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3.
- Multi-skilled mechanical and electrical experience.
- Electrical bias preferred.
- Apprenticeship trained ideally.
- Proactive problem-solving approach.
- Food manufacturing experience advantageous.
