A Dorset-based food manufacturing company is looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for its production facility.

You'll be part of a small team providing engineering support to production and carrying out reactive and proactive maintenance of plant, equipment and auxiliary systems.

Role:

• Multi-skilled, with either electrical or mechanical bias considered.
• Panama shifts – 12-hour days and nights.
• Work within a modern food manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work towards maximum plant and equipment efficiency.
• Deliver planned engineering tasks on time and in full.
• Follow good repair and manufacturing practices.
• Complete planned maintenance documentation and CMMS records.
• Work closely with production staff.
• Contribute to cost reduction, efficiency and process improvements.

Experience & Skills Required:

• C&G, NVQ Level 3, ONC/HNC or equivalent.
• Multi-skilled maintenance background.
• Apprenticeship trained.
• Proactive approach to engineering problems.
• Manufacturing or production experience.
