Mechanical Engineer - Manufacturing - Liverpool

Liverpool | Monday to Friday | Up to £43,000

We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join a market-leading processing company.

Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will be a key member of the engineering team, ensuring the production facility is maintained and operating efficiently.

You will be involved in all aspects of planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance across the operation. With progressive training and development, the business continually invests in enhancing employee skills while providing the support of a welcoming engineering team.

This position is ideal for a technically motivated engineer looking for their next challenge within a secure and stable company.

Role Description:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Respond to machine breakdowns.
• Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Fault-find on sensors, drives, relays and inverters.
• Maintain conveyors, bearings, belts and chains.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with site health and safety procedures.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance engineering experience.
• Mechanical qualifications are desirable.
• Strong mechanical maintenance experience.
