Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Food&Bev - Wellingborough

We are working with an established and growing food manufacturing business supplying high-quality products to customers across the UK.

As Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will report to the Reliability Manager and be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and improving a wide range of production and packaging equipment.

Working a rotating shift pattern of 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00 and 08:00-16:00, Monday to Friday with no nights, you will carry out planned preventative maintenance, respond to breakdowns and support wider reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Work collaboratively with Production, Quality and Operations teams.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Apprentice trained – NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, BTEC or equivalent.
• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within manufacturing.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with motors, sensors, inverters, conveyors and pneumatics.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
• Food, FMCG or process manufacturing experience advantageous.
• PLC fault-finding and 18th Edition advantageous.
