We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business at their site in the NG13 area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer looking to join a stable operation where you will play a key role in keeping production running safely and efficiently.
The Role
Working as part of the engineering and maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across a range of production machinery and site equipment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
Responding to and resolving machinery breakdowns.
Electrical and mechanical fault finding.
Diagnosing faults quickly to minimise production downtime.
Repairing and maintaining production machinery.
Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
Working safely and ensuring all maintenance activities meet company standards.
Maintaining accurate maintenance records.
Working closely with production teams to identify and resolve recurring issues.
About You
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical and mechanical skill set.
You should have:
A recognised engineering qualification such as NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds.
Previous experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance.
A proactive approach to identifying and resolving faults.
Good understanding of health & safety requirements.
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
