Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Manufacturing - Much Wenlock

Much Wenlock, Shropshire | Days (Monday–Friday) | £40,000–£45,000

We are a well-established manufacturer supplying high-quality products to the agricultural industry. Due to continued growth and investment in our production facilities, we are looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team on a permanent day shift.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern manufacturing environment, supporting production through proactive and reactive maintenance activities while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Role Description:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production machinery and site equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
• Support continuous improvement and reliability projects.
• Assist with machinery installations, upgrades and modifications.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure equipment performance and safety standards are maintained.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Level 3 Electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, BTEC or equivalent).
• Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• PLC fault-finding experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of conveyors, motors, drives, sensors, pneumatics and hydraulic systems.
• Proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
