We are looking for an experienced Press Toolmaker to join an established engineering business following the retirement of a long-serving member of the toolroom team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business that has recently expanded through acquisition and has ambitious growth plans over the coming years.
You'll be joining a well-equipped toolroom where craftsmanship and quality are highly valued, working on progression press tools from day one.
Role Description:
- Manufacture, repair, refurbish and service progression press tooling.
- Diagnose tooling failures and identify root causes.
- Carry out preventative and corrective tool maintenance.
- Work with surface grinders, milling machines and wire erosion equipment.
- Support production by ensuring tooling is maintained to a high standard.
- Contribute to continuous improvement within the toolroom.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Press Toolmaker.
- Strong progression press tooling experience is essential.
- Ability to manufacture, repair and service press tools independently.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working within a precision engineering or toolroom environment.

- Time and one-third during the week.
