Production Manager – Precision Engineering – Nottingham

Nottingham, Nottinghamshire | c£60,000–£65,000 + £650/month car allowance + up to 10% bonus | Hands-on manufacturing leadership

Take responsibility for all production areas at a global precision-engineering manufacturer, managing approximately 70 people.

This is a shop-floor-focused leadership role covering production performance, quality, delivery, cost and safety. You will set performance targets, maximise machine utilisation, promote TPM, drive Lean and Continuous Improvement projects and manage production cost centres.

You will also work with Supply Chain on make-versus-buy decisions, support the introduction of new technologies and develop talent across the production team.

Previous management or supervisory experience within a CNC or precision-manufacturing environment is essential. Five-plus years' people-management experience is sought alongside practical Lean/CI knowledge. Six Sigma qualifications would be advantageous.
