We are seeking an experienced QSHE Manager to help shape the future of a well-established precision engineering company entering an exciting new phase of growth. The business already has solid foundations and an experienced team in place, but now needs a leader who can develop and implement modernise systems and processes, and help future-proof the organisation as it expands into new markets.
You’ll drive profitability by leading quality improvements and opening high-margin markets through AS9100 implementation. This gives you a direct path to strategic influence and long-term career growth.
This is a role for someone who is passionate about quality excellence and continuous improvement — someone who can inspire a team, raise standards and build a culture capable of supporting long-term success.
What you’ll do: You’ll define, develop, and improve the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and customer-specific standards. Implementing AS9100 will support strategic growth and open new market opportunities. As the organisation's expert in QHSE, you’ll provide training, advice, and support to managers and staff, ensuring compliance and risk reduction. You’ll also develop KPIs to demonstrate performance against objectives and support the business plan. As part of the Senior Management Team, you’ll contribute to annual budgets and the five-year strategic plan, focusing on profitable growth. You’ll also lead and motivate the quality and shop floor teams, ensuring they have the training and development needed to perform to high standards.
What you’ll need: Experience of AS9100, driving certification or maintaining standards in a regulated environment Strong knowledge of quality engineering tools, systems, and standards, enabling you to lead continuous improvement Background in medium-volume component manufacturing, giving you insight into production and quality challenges
