Ruddington, Nottingham | Up to £33,000 + 10% Afternoon Shift Premium + 5% Annual Bonus

Wagstaff Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Quality Inspector for a well-established precision manufacturing business in Ruddington.

This is a hands-on inspection role within a clean manufacturing environment, inspecting machined components and working closely with the wider Quality and Manufacturing teams.

What you'll be doing:

First-off, in-process, final and visual inspection.
Inspecting machined components against engineering drawings.
Using micrometers, calipers, height gauges and other precision measuring equipment.
Identifying and raising non-conformances.
Supporting problem solving, corrective actions and internal audits.
Maintaining accurate quality and inspection records.

What we're looking for:

You will need previous inspection experience within a machining, precision engineering or manufacturing environment, together with:

Ability to read engineering drawings.
Practical experience using micrometers and calipers.
Dimensional and visual inspection experience.
Good attention to detail.

Experience with CMM, OGP, gauge pins or GD&T would be advantageous but is not essential.

Package:

Salary up to £33,000.
10% premium on afternoon shifts.
5% annual bonus.
