Sales Director - Electronics - Slough

A market-leading technology business operating within the electronics sector is seeking an experienced Sales Director to join its Senior Leadership Team.

This is a key strategic appointment, offering the opportunity to influence business direction, drive commercial growth and lead a well-established sales organisation across the UK and Ireland.

The company supplies specialist electronic products and solutions into a range of high-growth markets and has built a strong reputation for technical expertise, innovation and customer service.

As Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in identifying growth opportunities, strengthening customer relationships and delivering sustainable revenue and profit growth.

The Role:

Develop and execute the sales and business growth strategy.

Drive revenue, gross margin and profitability improvements.

Identify new market opportunities and emerging technologies.

Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

Lead, mentor and develop high-performing sales teams.

Work closely with technical teams to align customer requirements with product and design solutions.

Monitor market trends, competitor activity and future growth sectors.

Contribute to wider business strategy as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

Requirements:

Engineering degree, ideally in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.

Experience within the electronics market.

Proven track record of delivering sales growth within businesses generating £20m+ annual revenue.

Three days per week office-based.

Willingness to become a Statutory Director.

Strong commercial, financial and strategic planning skills.

Experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Proactive, results-driven leadership style with the ability to influence at all levels.
