We're recruiting for a skilled TIG Welder to join an established manufacturing operation in Abingdon, working on high-quality engineered metal products. This is an opportunity for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and wants competitive pay, strong benefits and overtime opportunities.

What's on offer?

Salary of £32,000–£37,385 depending on experience. Early or late weekday shifts, 37 hours per week, 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, overtime at 1.5 times during the week and double time at weekends, private medical cover and enhanced pension.

The role

Produce high-quality TIG welds on metal components and fabricated assemblies. Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Prepare materials for welding, maintain high standards of weld quality, accuracy and finish, inspect completed work and collaborate with manufacturing and fabrication colleagues.

What we're looking for

Previous TIG welding experience in engineering or manufacturing, ability to read drawings, attention to detail, knowledge of welding procedures and quality standards, and a reliable, team-focused approach. Stainless steel, precision fabrication or high-integrity welded components would be advantageous.
